• No open fires or BBQ's in the swims or around the lakes
• Absolutely no Litter (includes bottle tops and cigarette ends) please place litter into the designated bins
• 3 carp rods per person only
• No Long shank or bent hooks
• Microbarb hooks ONLY, No barbless hooks. Size 4 & 6 Best.
• No braid for mainline
• No lead core or carp leaders of any description
• No fine braid hooklinks like merlin etc, coated braid only i.e. camo skin, snakebite, korda hybrid etc (if your not sure please ask) (see video page coming soon)
• 15 pound breaking strain line only
• No death or fixed rigs
• No fixed leads (semi fixed only) lead release clips to be cut back to allow lead to release freely if snagged
• Do Not stand up holding a carp in your hands or arms
• Carp to be moved in weighing sling (Carp Cradle) only
• Only weighing slings provided by us to be used
• Do not weigh carp in landing nets
• Unhooking mat provided must be used (please wet before use)
• Rig tubing at least 700mm/28inches long compulsory on all lines (To prevent scales lifting and fin damage)

• Klinik, or medicarp compulsory
• Fishing from the decked swims and designated areas only
• No fishing from the dam wall
• No nuts and only particles cooked and supplied by us to be used
• No shelflife bait to be used
• Only the landing net provided by us to be used.
• Do Not Weigh Carp In Landing Net.
• No carp sacks or keep nets to be brought to the lakes
• No sacking of carp
• Please return Fish to water A.S.A.P
• Please keep the fish wet while unhooking and taking pictures
• If unhooking carp on a hot day 1st dip unhooking mat in lake to cool it
• Mobile phone ring tones, Radio or similar to be kept turned down.
• Respect the local wildlife and nature

A deposit of £50 / €75 is payable on arrival at the fishery, this deposit will be forfeited if any of the equipment supplied is damaged or for breaking any of the above rules, otherwise the deposit is refunded in full at the end of your holiday. You are entirely responsible for the full replacement cost of any damage caused by you to anything owned by Brittany Mill Lakes .

We are sure you would agree when we say that most of these rules are in place to protect the welfare of our carp. We want you to catch them in pristine condition and obeying these simple rules helps to ensure that is so. Likewise we want the lakes and the environment to be in pristine condition this is for everyone's enjoyment, so we ask please if you can try to leave it as you found it and thank you for doing so.
